Simon Cowell has stepped in to help save Christmas Top Of The Pops following the news the pop show festive spesh was to be ditched this year.
The X Factor judge is a big fan of the BBC show and he is desperate to save it from the axe.
‘I’ve got a suggestion for them. If they don’t want it, I’ll take it,’ said Simon.
‘I’m serious. They can give it to me or I will give them a bit of money. Why end the tradition? It’s like not having Christmas pudding. I don’t believe in breaking with tradition.
‘I’ve made them an offer and let’s see if they accept.’
