After being thrown into the limelight on the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera went on the embark on a much-hyped pop feud in the charts throughout the nineties.

But despite never being bosom buddies Christina has nothing but nice things to say about her childhood pal.

‘When we both started releasing records, it was a funny time for me,’ says Christina.

‘It must have seemed as if we were competition with each other, but, in reality Britney is someone that I used to hold hands with.  We were silly little girls together on the Mickey Mouse Club.  What a journey it has been for both of us!’

And the Dirrty singer seems keen to put their bitter feud to rest now the pair have grown up and started their own families.

‘There have been so many stories about the two of us not getting on.,’ adds Christina to the Daily Mirror.

‘I don’t pass any judgement on what she does.  I always wish her all the best.

Awwww, isn’t it nice when these slebs get on?!
