Diana regrets auditioning for The X Factor

Moving down to London away from her Blackburn family only to find herself in the media spotlight and receive constant critisism from judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh has taken it’s toll on our favourite X Factor contestant.

“It is hard. Sometimes I do think I’m 17 and there’s so much pressure anyway growing up. Now I’m growing up in the public eye and something bad will be said about me and think ‘why did I do this?’… But that will last for literally five minutes and I get over it. Then I’m on stage on the Saturday night and all this amazing stuff happens and everything is worth it.”

Diana who caused some stir when she had a ‘free pass’ through one of the shows when she was ill with laryngitis admitted she is reading a book called ‘the secret’ leant to her by Laura White which is about positive thinking.

“Laura was reading it. She didn’t really live by it though! She was a bit of a worrier like me. She said I haven’t finished it yet but you should read it.”
