jonathan and russell nominated for comedy award

Despite all the hoo-ha surrounding those prank calls, Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand have still been nominated for a British Comedy Award.
The ITV bash was supposed to be hosted by Jonathan but he pulled out following Manuelgate, claming it was ‘inappropriate’.
But the presenter’s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross chat show has still been nominated for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme while Russell is up for Best Live Stand Up.
The nominations were made by a selection of TV execs, writers and members of the public and surprisingly chosen after the phone scandal.
It is thought that neither comedian will attend the bash despite these nominations.
