kate winslet: i was too fat to be famous
Kate Winslet has opened up in a new interview and admits she never thought she would become famous because she ‘was fat’.
In a revealing interview with Vanity Fair, the actress says she always struggled with her weight when she was a child and still suffers from insecurities.
‘I didn’t know any fat famous actresses,’ said Kate.
‘I just did not see myself in that world at all and I’m being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid.
‘Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little but different from everyone else. And I still sort of have that.’
But the Titanic star’s body worries haven’t stopped her from stripping off in a saucy shoot for the magazine.
Kate shows off her famous curves posing naked on a sofa, covering her modesty with a fur rug for the latest issue.
The December issue of Vanity Fair is out on Friday.
