louis: laura would never have won the x factor

It was the biggest shock of The X Factor so far and everyone seems to have an opinion on it – including those folks in parliament – but Louis Walsh has defended his choice to give Laura White the boot, claiming she would never have won the show.

The judge is adamant he made the right choice saving Ruth Lorenzo over the 21-year-old despite all the backlash from angry fans.

‘Laura was in the bottom two – her performance was bad and her styling was even worse,’ says Louis to The Sun.

Ouch!

He adds: ‘She didn’t get the public support and got three votes from the judges.

‘No one in the bottom two ever wins the X Factor, that’s just a fact. Laura was never going to win.’

More than 10,000 people have joined an online petition demanding Laura to return to the show or get a record deal. The young singer also has the support from pop star Lily Allen.

But Laura is looking on the bright side adding: ‘The show has given me confidence. I’m proud of myself.’
