After bagging herself a hubby 11 years her junior, Mariah Carey has defended her decision to marry a younger man, claiming she couldn’t be happier.
The singer wed Nick Cannon back in April after just two months together.
‘I don’t see what the big deal is,’ said Mariah.
‘Should I be with an old fuddy-duddy who would be boring and bleak? I have fun.
‘It’s not about the age, it’s just about finding the right person for you.’
The diva recently revealed that she waited until her wedding night to have sex with Nick.
‘It’s not that we had no intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy. It’s just me, and my feelings,’ said Mariah to the Daily Mirror.
‘We both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is.’
No wonder they tied the knot so quickly….
