nicole kidman opens up about marriage to tom cruise
Nicole Kidman has spoken out about her marriage to ex-hubby Tom Cruise, admitting that she often felt she lived in his shadow.
‘I felt I became a star only by association. I didn’t think (my early movies) were very good, which is why I would always cower in the background,’ said the actress to Glamour magazine.
‘I thought, I don’t deserve to be here. We would go to the Oscars and I would think, I’m here to support him.
‘I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and to be seen and not heard.’
Nicole separated from Tom back in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.
The star is now blissfully happy with new hubby Keith Urban and their baby Sunday Rose.
Hmmm, we wonder what Tom’s missus Katie Holmes thinks about this?
