omg! x factor rachel sacks mentor dannii

Oh dear…it’s all kicking off on The X Factor.

Rachel Hylton has sacked her mentor Dannii Minogue after a series of rows over song choices.

The pair haven’t seen eye to eye since the first week when Dannii gave Rachel Robyn’s hit Every Heartbeat to sing which didn’t go down too well.

And after being in the bottom two last week, Rachel has finally had enough of the Aussie judge and has given her the boot.

‘There is total breakdown in communication between the two girls with Rachel ultimately feeling Dannii is failing her,’ said a source to the Daily Mirror.

‘She is desperate to win the competition but she feels she has no chance if Dannii keeps giving her the wrong tracks to perform.’

It’s the first time a contestant has been allowed to compete without a mentor. Even Dannii has admitted mentoring Rachel has been difficult.

‘Being a mentor to Rachel was incredibly hard. I’ve always seen her as a soul singer, but she wanted to be a rock star, and as a result we’ve often disagreed,’ said Dannii.

Yikes.
