sarah harding to star in telly drama

Now Cheryl Cole is gracing our telly boxes in The X Factor (and doing a pretty good job of it too) it looks like the other girls want a slice of the action.

Fellow Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is turning to acting and making her first break into TV in a brand new drama.

The singer is set to star in Freefall, a drama about the credit crunch, alongside Lily Allen’s bro Alfie, according to reports.

The drama, written by Dominic Savage, will see Sarah play the beautician girlfriend of a rich City financier during this current crisis.

‘Dominic Savage’s films are all about improvisation which is pretty challenging, but that’s also a big reason why I want to do the project,’ said Sarah to The Sun.

‘It’s so different to what I’m used to. It’s a bit nerve-wracking too not having all my girls with me. They’re really supportive though and can’t wait to see the end result.’

But what will this mean for Girls Aloud? Eeek!
