sugababes desperate to bag a brit
You may think they are the girls who have everything, but the Sugababes have revealed exactly what’s missing in their celeb lives.
The girlband have admitted they’re desperate to win a Brit award and are so angry they keep being snubbed by the bash, they’re thinking of boycotting it.
‘I say this in the most humble way but when you think of pop bands the Sugababes are definitely up there,’ said Keisha to the Daily Mirror.
‘I’m proud that Gordon Brown is recognising us, but why not the Brits? We’re British for God’s sake and we’ve done well.’
The Babes have been nominated six times but have only bagged a minor gong for Best Dance Act 2003, an award which doesn’t even exist anymore.
‘I’m telling you if they don’t nominate us this year, that’s it, I’m done. I’m not going,’ added Amelle.
‘Our song About You Now sold almost as many singles as Rihanna’s Umbrella – yet she was up on stage and we got no recognition.’
