x factor fans demand to see voting figures
That Laura White has caused a right kerfuffle hasn’t she? It seems fans are still pretty vexed over her boot from The X Factor last Saturday with a whopping 50,000 people signing an online petition.
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom have now launched an investigation after angry viewers threatened to boycott the show.
And X Factor bosses are under increasing pressure to publish the voting figures.
‘People just want to know what happens when they vote and we have a right to know the figures,’ said one of the organizers Dan Kirby to the Daily Mirror.
‘How do we know Laura was even in the bottom two? How many votes did she get? We don’t know. They need to come clean.’
Voters have also complained that they couldn’t get through the phone lines to vote for the young hopeful.
But a spokesman for the ITV show said: ‘There were no issues with the phone lines or the voting system during last week’s show.
‘The viewers vote for the act they want to keep in and last Saturday Laura White and Ruth Lorenzo were in the bottom two because they had the least number of votes.’
Isn’t it about time people got over it?!
