He does like to cause a stir no matter what, and it seems that yet another comment made by the Radio 1 DJ has sparked outrage.
The outcry came after he made comments about how he felt prostitues made very good cleaners and could iron brilliantly, while then going on to say that he felt Polish people were very good at ironing.
It plunged the BBC into another crisis with numerous complaint made.
But the BBC came back and said that his words were misinterpreted.
A quote from the BBC in the Mirror said:-
“Chris was poking fun at stereotypes and making a nonsense of generalisations based on nationality. At no point did he say Polish people were involved in prostitution. He separately joked prostitutes were good at fixing cars and ironing.”
