graham norton takes over from terry wogan
Well it is the campest thing on the TV - no not Eurovision, Graham Norton!
And now he has been handed the reins of presenting the coverage of the farcical music contest, otherwise known as a political broadcast.
It has been no secret that Terry Wogan was fed up of the way that voting was never getting less and less about the music and more and more about countries tactically voting, but we hoped that Terry would hang in there.
One of the main reasons to tune in has always been Wogans tongue in cheek commentary which has been more fun to listen to than watching most of the acts.
But after 35 years at the helm, our man Wogan has handed the job over to Norton. Quoted in the Sun, Norton said, “Sir Terry is an impossible act to follow but I just couldn’t say no. I can’t wait to get to Moscow — with a combination of cheap vodka and a language barrier what could possibly go wrong?”
Let’s see what happens!
