It is with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Tony Hart.
The veteran TV presenter and incredible artist died at 83. he had been suffering from ill health and over the last few years had endured two strokes.
His amazing career spanned over 50 years and included programs such as Take Hart, Vision on and Hartbeat.
He retired in 2001 due to ill health and it was quite recently that his health took a turn for the worst ending him up in hospital.
Those who remember growing up with Tony will remember the passion that he brought to the show and how he inspired thousands and thousands of children.
Tony, you will be missed!
