sophie ellis-bextor starts her own pregnancy blog

Posted: 4th February, 2009

sophieThere are so many blogs these days it’s hard to know which ones are worth checking out.  But in the case of Sophie Ellis-Bextor you can be sure of an intriguing, fascinating and insightful look into the world of a celebrity mum.

The celebrity mum to be, who is six months pregnant, has revealed in her blog at www.sparklingpregancy.com that not only did she prepare Christmas lunch with her husband, Richard Jones from The Feeling, despite mum, former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis, trying to persuade her otherwise, she is also going to continue to DJ, run her club night Modern Love and do the odd gig throughout her pregnancy. Sophie is writing a monthly blog for Shloer, the Sparkling Juice Drink, about her pregnancy.

Sophie and her husband, Richard Jones bass player from the band The Feeling, announced they were expecting their second child in November 2008. Sophie, who has a son already, is due to give birth in April this year.

Sophie will be blogging on www.sparklingpregnancy.com in six instalments sharing her fashion and wellbeing hints to ensure that even with a baby on board every mum to be can sparkle.  Delivered with a sprinkling of humour, Sophie’s candid blog will offer the chance to take a peak into the world of a celebrity mum to be; from cravings and breast feeding to dressing your bump for the red carpet, or just for lunch with friends.

Shloer is the perfect choice for mums to be. Always free from preservatives, artificial sweeteners, flavours and colours, it’s the perfect choice to add sparkle to any occasion; be it drinks with the girls or a baby shower. Shloer is available in the classic Red and White Grape as well as Apple, White Grape Mango & Passionfruit, White Grape & Elderflower and White Grape Raspberry & Cranberry.

I’m now 19 and experiencing being a dad. I must say although it feels good it’s still hard. I knew it wouldn’t be easy but to be honest, the hard part is having to balance time. My daughter is great and makes managing her never dreadful. -Teen dad
