Courteney Cox stars as recently divorced Jules, a single mother in her 40’s, who finds herself back on the singles market faced with the honest truths about dating in a youth and beauty obsessed culture.
Jules’ younger yeas revolvced around being a wife and mother, while her peers were busy navigating the trails and tribulations of dating. Now single, Jules is ready to embark on the second phase of her life alongside fellow divorcees and singletons - all eager to re-live a time gone by. In her small Floridan town, the Cougars high school football team takes centre stage. The team are also a constant source of distraction and attraction, for the hordes of divorcees prowling the area on the look for hot young men. Jules doesn;t want to be one of them, but after an ugly divorce she desperately wants more action in her life. Encouraged to get out there and have some fun by her straight-talking best friend Ellie (Christa Miller), and feist young assistan Laurie (Busy Philipps), Jules re-enter the dating scene.
