JUNE 20th: CALUM BEST

The latest in MTV reality TV brings on a new “Totally...” series, this time seeing the utterly delectable Calum Best at the centre of the show. Have these shows been successful in the past? Well Jodie Marsh isn’t exactly Britain’s personality of the year, and Lisa Scott Lee and co aren’t the best loved family in the UK but good luck to ya Mr Best if you can pull it off.

In a bid to give the UK a new perception of the gorgeous lothario, Calum heads to LA to seek a career and give up sex and any other kind of sexual activity for 50 days.

Okay, now I understand the whole bad boy heading over the pond on a quest to find himself a nice job and the fact he’s pretty and had a famous dad obviously helps, but to throw in the tacky celibacy test when Calum’s known as a serial shagger may attract more viewers but also may not really give him the serious image he is searching for.

The guy hasn’t had the easiest life and may be taking out all his frustration being with beautiful women but some may see this as pointless and just another cry out for 5 minutes of fame. I will be tuning in clearly to see how he does looking for a job, and not of course to catch a glimpse of bare chest or buttock...No way!
