BBC BID TO STEAL HARRY HILL

Harry Hill is in demand.

The BBC is reportedly planning a multi-million pound bid to steal the comic from ITV.

Beeb bosses are hoping they can lure Harry into presenting a new Generation Game-style show for the channel

‘Harry is one of the top comedians on TV.  Crucially he is someone who appeals to the whole family, so he would be perfect for the BBC on Saturday prime-time presenting a show like The Generation Game,’ said a source to the Daily Mirror.

Harry hosts one of our favourite telly programmes Harry Hill’s TV Burp on ITV and reportedly earns around £1million a year.

‘At the moment there is no question of Harry being unhappy at ITV, although in years gone by his show TV Burp was shifted around,’ adds the source.

‘If the BBC make a formal approach, expect a real tug-of-war.’

As long as we get more Harry on our telly boxes, we’re not complaining!
