KELLY OSBOURNE GETS THE AXE

Kelly Osbourne has been given the sack after her reality show Project Catwalk was dropped by Sky One.

The presenter replaced Liz Hurley as host on the fashion reality show which aimed to find new aspiring designers.

The channel dropped the bombshell after ratings dropped from 300,000 in the first series to 110,000 viewers in the last series in January.

A spokesman said the reason behind the chop was because the channel was looking for a more ‘female-friendly’ replacement.'

‘Project Catwalk was a great addition to Sky One's schedule. Kelly Osbourne, Ben de Lisi and the team have provided a fantastic platform for genuine talent, introducing the rising stars of fashion to the UK,' said a spokesman.

‘We felt the series had come to a natural end and we're now looking for some new female-skewed formats for the 8pm slot to complement our success in the 9pm and 10pm hours.’

Boo!  You can’t get more ‘female friendly’ than Project Catwalk surely?!
