X FACTOR BOSSES RELEASE STATEMENT OVER 'FAKER' ALAN

If you’re a little confused over X Factor hopeful Alan Turner’s life story then you’re not the only ones!

The 23-year-old is in the middle of a lot of controversy after it was reported that he lied about his upbringing.

Alan was accused of making up a ‘sob story’ in order to win over the judges and the audiences after he claimed he had been fostered since the age of four and ‘wants to get to know his real family.’

His father Alan snr then came forward and said they were in contact. 

Alan then reportedly apologised and begged producers to keep him on the show.

Confused?  Well, the big cheeses at X Factor have released the following statement to clarify a few things:

‘Alan categorically denies that he has made up any story regarding his upbringing and refutes the claims which have been made.

‘Alan has at no point apologised to producers and his position in the show has never been in jeopardy.

‘Unfortunately in telling what is a very complicated story about Alan's family life, some confusion and doubt has been raised about Alan's relationship with his biological parents which is unfortunate.’

Alan was raised by his grandmother Irene, who is not his biological grandmother.  Irene fostered Alan’s mother Debbie as a child and then took care of Alan since he was four-years-old.  He has only been in contact with his father four times since then, according to reports.
